Mynutrioclinic

Privacy Policy

Your health information is personal. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, who sees it and how long we keep it.

Who we are

Mynutrioclinic is an online nutrition and wellness practice based in Guwahati, Assam, India, founded and run by Dr. Yashmin Nongrum. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Mynutrioclinic, and “you” means anyone who visits this website or contacts us. We are responsible for the personal information described here.

Visiting this website

You can read this website without telling us anything about yourself.

  • No cookies, no tracking. The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically records basic technical details of each visit (such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to run the website securely. These logs are kept for a short time and are not used to identify you.
  • Links to WhatsApp and Instagram. The booking buttons open WhatsApp or Instagram, which are run by Meta. Once you are there, Meta’s own privacy policies apply to what you send.

What we collect when you contact us or book

When you message us or book a consultation, we collect only what we need to look after you:

  • Contact details: your name, phone number, Instagram account or email address, and the messages you send us.
  • Health and lifestyle information: through an intake form we send you (a Google Form) and during consultations. This can include your age, height, weight, medical history, medicines, reports, diet, routine and goals.
  • Payment details: you pay by UPI or bank transfer, so we see your name, the amount, the date and the transaction reference. We never see or store your card details or UPI PIN.

You choose what to share. If you leave something out, we may not be able to give advice that is safe for you, and we will tell you so.

How we use it

  • To arrange and hold your consultations, and to reply to your messages.
  • To prepare your diet plan and advice, and to follow up on your progress.
  • To record payments and meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or send you marketing messages unless you ask us to.

Your consent

We use your information because you give it to us for your care. By filling in the intake form and booking, you agree to us using it as this policy describes. You can withdraw your consent at any time by telling us. We will then stop using your information and delete it, except for anything the law requires us to keep. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot continue your consultations.

Who we share it with

  • Our associate partners, only with your consent. Some of our services involve independent doctors, counsellors and trainers who work alongside us. If your care needs one of them, we will ask you first, and share only what that person needs. Associate partners are independent professionals, responsible for how they handle your information under their own practice’s policies.
  • Services we use to run the practice. Meta (WhatsApp and Instagram), for messages; Google (Gmail, Google Forms and Google Drive), for email, intake forms and your records; and Vercel, which hosts this website. They process information on our behalf to provide their services.
  • When the law requires it. If we are legally required to share information, for example by a court or a government authority, we will share only what is required.

We never share your information with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep your health records, intake form answers and consultation notes for one year after your last consultation, in case you return to us. After that we delete them, including the files we hold and, where we can, our chat history with you. Payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

How we protect it

We keep your information in password-protected accounts, limit access to the people involved in your care, and never post anything about a client without their written permission. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affected your information we would tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Children

We offer child and adolescent nutrition. For anyone under 18, we work with their parent or legal guardian, who books, gives consent and shares information on the child’s behalf.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct or complete information that is wrong or out of date;
  • delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it;
  • withdraw your consent;
  • name someone to act on your behalf if you are unable to.

To use any of these rights, contact us as shown below. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so that we never give your information to someone else.

Questions and complaints

For anything about your privacy, contact Dr. Yashmin Nongrum at mynutrioclinicassam@gmail.com, or message us on WhatsApp. We will reply as soon as we can, and within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects information you have already given us, we will tell you directly.
